Cannon Heater was best known for the stoves they manufactured for the army. They made the identical stove as the cannon heater, the only difference was it said U.S. Army on it. They manufactured this stove in 3 sizes. 15, 18, and 20. The stove shown here is the 20, the largest they manufactured. It weighs approximately 800 lbs. these stoves were used to heat the army barracks from WWI all the way through the Korean war. They were known for their durability and not being able to be worn out. They were major features within the quonset huts which utilized them, with nobody to service them. They can burn either wood or coal. We’ve sold many of these over the years and everybody raves about this workhorse of a stove.
