With the front cast iron door securely in place, the Bowdoin Franklin stove resembles a parlor stove – and heats as efficiently as a parlor stove. The draft control located on the base regulates the heat output allowing for this stove to keep a room cozy for a couple of hours. Enjoy the glow of the fire from the two mica windows the front door; or a full view of the fire can be enjoyed by removing the front door.
