The Laurel Art Baseburner Stove is a work of antique artistry and function at its finest. Dancing flames in the stove’s belly are reflected in shiny nickel shrouds that cast a golden aura around the stove. Smooth scrollwork washes across the face, sides and rear of the stove enveloping this antique stove in lusterous swirling pools of nickel. Swinging the brass finial and nickel dome to the side reveals a cook lid paired with a location for loading coal. A cast iron chute deposits coals cleanly into a firebrick-lined, cast iron pot. If wood is your preference, the chute can be removed and the stove loaded from the front or from the side. Conversion to gas, propane or electric is available too. Ornate wings extend from the body with pride and prominence. The Acorn name is scripted in nickel in the center of the stove. The Laurel Art Baseburner Stove includes a small cook lid on the rear of the stove. This impressive stove heats a large area for at least six hours. The Laurel Art, like all Baseburner Stoves, has a combustion system that recycles combustible materials for a more complete burn, making these a paragon of efficiency and dazzling beauty.
