Genuine Turn-of-the-Century Heating Stoves
Vintage stoves use wood and coal. Stoves can be adapted to use propane, gas and/or electric. Our antique kitchen cook stoves and old kitchen ranges of all vintages are original antiques that have been fully restored for full operation and efficiency. Conversion to gas and electric are available on all models.
Heating stoves have been the heart of the historic home since the late 1700s. Woodburning stoves and coal fireplaces were the sole source of heat and hot water. Ease of use, efficiency, economy and beauty are found in potbelly stoves, old parlor stoves, and cylinder stoves sometimes called oak stoves.
Genuine Antique Wood and Coal Cook Ranges
The cooking range of this era served two functions: to warm the kitchen area of the home and to prepare meals. Innovations of the day offered: 6-8 wood burners, a wood oven, and optional features like the water reservoir or warmers that enhance and facilitate cooking.
