Description

The B & M Cottage parlor stove has a cylinder shape with a smooth steel body sandwiched between a cast iron top, base and legs. Nickel-plated cast-iron doors in the dron tof the stove can be opened for a view of the fire. Nickel-plated finial and feet combine for an added sense light character. Wood is loaded from a side door or from a hinged top. Understated in its design, this antique heating stove does feature touches of lovely scroll work on the top, on either side of the cooklid, and on the legs. A draft control is located on the side loading. Manufactured by the Boston & Maine Co. the stove is a powerhouse heater warming an area for up to eight hours. Design simplicity and heating dependability are a winning combination for the B & M Cottage parlor stove.
